Nine-year-old Kippi lives in foster care and dreams of finding a forever family. Moved from foster home to foster home, she starts believing she’s just too much work to ever be loved.

 

When Kippi is sent to another new home, she finds herself at a most unusual place - a rescue farm where every animal has a name. It’s nothing like the forever home she imagined. Farm life is chaotic, and worse, a crazy giant turkey named Boris keeps chasing her.

 

Yet among the misfit animals and eccentric grownups, Kippi stumbles into adventures she never expected. Slowly, she starts to wonder if finding a forever family might mean something different from she always imagined.
